Princeton's women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to FCV Frankfurt Monday in the final game of its four-game, 11-day trip to Germany. Emily Behncke scored the lone Princeton goal off an assist from Meghan Farrell. The Tigers were to begin the return trip to Princeton Tuesday, flying from Frankfurt to London and then London to Philadelphia. The team will begin practice for the 2004 season Thursday, eight days ahead of its opening game at home against Texas A&M. Princeton is ranked 27th in Division I in the preseason by Soccer Buzz magazine; Texas A&M is ranked fourth. Princeton finished its trip 0-4 against some of the top women's teams in Germany. Prior to its final game, Princeton stayed on a U.S. military base and gave a clinic for the children of military personnel stationed there. The Tigers also took a cruise of the Rhine River. As for the game in Frankfurt, the home team scored two goals on penalty kicks, including one with five seconds remaining in the first half. Behncke's goal came early in the second half and tied the game at 1-1.
