Jordan Reiger set up Yale's winning goal with a long ball over the top of the defense to Munns, who fed a pass to Hills inside the penalty area.
Princeton goalie Bobby Guelich, one of eight seniors playing his final game, had three of his four saves in the second half. Twice he came off his line to stop attempts by Hills at a second goal of the game.
Yale outshot the Tigers 12-6, including 8-3 in the first half. Despite that shot advantage, the game was scoreless at the half. Princeton finished the Ivy season 3-1-1 after beginning the league schedule with losses at eventual league champions Dartmouth and Brown.
The team's eight seniors were honored in a pregame ceremony. Two of them, Darren Spicer and Adrian Melville, finished in Princeton's top 12 all-time in career goals, while three others (Ben Young, Alex Reison, Chaudhuri) were multi-year starters and another (Bobby Guelich) the league leader in saves and saves per game in 2005.
