PRINCETON, N.J. - Junior Jacqueline Leahy was named to the All-Ivy first team list in the foil after compiling a 14-1 record. Leahy was joined by epee teammate Erin McGarry on the first team.
Leahy repeats her first team selection from last season, while McGarry improves upon her second team honor from a year ago with a 13-1 record against conference opponents as a sophomore.
All-Ivy status is determined by winning percentage in Ivy League matches and a minimum of 75 percent of the team's bouts must be fenced to be considered. Cornell's men and both Brown and Dartmouth's men and women do not compete in Ivy League fencing.
The women's fencing team will compete in the IFA Championships on Saturday, Feb. 26 in Providence, R.I.
