Women's Tennis Defeats Syracuse, 5-2

The Princeton women's tennis team got five singles victories, including a clinching three-set win from Darcy Robertson at No. 2, on the way to a 5-2 win over Syracuse in a match played at the Jadwin Gym tennis courts Friday afternoon.
The Tigers (3-2) lost the doubles point, but rebounded by earning three three-set victories in singles. In addition to Robertson's win at No. 2, which included a tiebreak victory in the second set to extend the match, Jessica Siebel won in three sets at No. 1 and Laura Trimble came from one set down to win at No. 5.
Joanna Roth and Stephanie Berg each won in straight sets for the Tigers to help clinch the match. The Tigers host Maryland Sunday morning at Jadwin Gym.
