Butler Earns Second-Team All-Ivy Honors, Prepares For NCAA Championships

Junior Jake Butler, who placed fifth at last weekend's EIWA championships and will represent Princeton at the 2005 NCAA championships, was honored Tuesday as the Tigers' lone representative on the 2005 All-Ivy League squad.

Butler went 4-1 against Ivy League rivals this season, falling only to first-team selection Jerry Rinaldi of Cornell. The Princeton junior dominated the rest of the league competition, winning three of his matches by major decision and the fourth by pin.

Butler will travel to St. Louis next weekend to compete in the national championships, which begin March 17 and conclude with the championship matches on March 19.
