NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The top-ranked Princeton open crew defeated Yale for the Eisenberg Cup on Saturday, extending its Ivy League win streak to 16 races. The Tigers defeated Yale by 4.1 seconds to claim the Cup.
Princeton improved to 7-0 with the win, which came against the No. 8 team in the country. Thet Tigers finished in 6:17.1, while Yale came in at 6:21.2. Princeton's other win came in the novice 4s, a 35-second victory over its Yale rival.
Princeton will travel to Hanover, N.H., next weekend to race against Dartmouth and Penn.
