Women's Lacrosse Hits the Road for Matchup with No. 16 Delaware

The Princeton women's lacrosse team looks for its 16th straight victory against Delaware when the Tigers meet the Blue Hens under the lights at Rullo Stadium Tuesday night at 7 p.m. (GoPrincetonTigers.com audio broadcast).
Fourth-ranked Princeton (10-3) hasn't lost to the Blue Hens since the 1989 season and has outscored Delaware 49-23 in three victories the last three seasons.
Delaware (8-5), ranked No. 16 in the IWLCA poll this week, is Princeton's 12th nationally-ranked opponent out of 14 games this season. The Tigers have an 8-3 record against their previous 11 ranked opponents, with all of those defeats coming to teams ranked in the top 10 at the time of the game.
The Tigers, who saw a six-game winning streak and a 16-game Ivy League winning streak come to an end with a 12-9 defeat at Dartmouth Saturday, haven't lost consecutive games since April 2003.
The Blue Hens improved to 8-5 on the season with a 14-7 victory over Temple last week. Delaware is led by first-year head coach Kim Ciarocca, who was the head coach at Temple for 12 seasons.

Pulling Rank -- Delaware is Princeton's 12th ranked opponent out of 14 opponents this season. Only Columbia and Harvard were unranked at the time of their respective games against the Tigers.
