PHILADELPHIA - The Princeton women's 4X1500 relay group competed among some of the top teams in the nation Friday afternoon in that event at the Penn Relays, finishing sixth in a time of 18:22.80.

Princeton's relay group consisted of Meredith Lambert, Randy Buzzell, Marian Bihrle and Caroline Mullen. Stanford won the race in 17:38.16, outsdistancing hometown Villanova (17:42.13) in second place.

The Tigers also had a competitor in the "Eastern" triple jump event on Friday. Molly Jones was 23rd in that competition after a jump of 10.98 meters (36 feet, 1/4 inch).
