The 2004-05 Princeton women's tennis team, as well as four individual members of that squad, have been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) with academic awards.
Stephanie Berg, who graduated in May, current seniors Alison Hashmall and Rankin Williams and junior Laura Trimble each earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. All four were varsity letterwinners who had impressive grade-point averages of 3.50 or higher for the 2004-05 academic year.
As a team, the Tigers also earned All-Academic honors from the ITA. That award honors those teams that have a cumulative GPA as a team of 3.2 or higher for an academic year.
Princeton, under first-year head coach Kathy Sell, finished the 2004-05 season 10-9 overall and 4-3 in Ivy League play.
