Women's Soccer Team Travels To No. 18 UConn, Boston University
September 15, 2005 | Women's Soccer
Sept. 15, 2005
With games against No. 6 UCLA and No. 22 Arizona under its belt, the Princeton women's soccer team heads to New England for a pair of games this weekend, beginning Friday night (7) at No. 18 Connecticut and continuing Sunday (1) at Boston University.
Princeton, 1-3 after defeating Loyola Marymount Sunday afternoon for its first win, has played UConn six times in the past and Boston University five times in the past, but the two series are radically different. Each previous Princeton-UConn game was played between 1980 and 1988, when the current Princeton freshmen were one-year-old. The entire Princeton-BU series, on the other hand, has been played since 1997.

Injury update - Christina Costantino, who started every game a year ago on defense, will miss the 2005 season with a torn ACL.
Taylor made - Taylor Numann, a freshman who has started each of the first four games this season, is the only current Princeton player to have started every game of her career.
