Princeton, N.J. - Freshman Marlowe Boukis shot an even-par 72 on Saturday to sit atop the leader board at the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club. Boukis and her teammates combined to shoot four of the top-six scores as Princeton has a 10-stroke lead on the field after the first round.
Princeton shot a 299. Yale is currently second, with St. John's, Richmond and Georgetown completed the top five.
Boukis' 72 leads Yale's January Romero and Ellie Brophy in second and third. Freshman Susannah Aboff shot a 74 and is fourth. Junior Sharla Cloutier and sophomore Annika Windon shot 76's and are tied for fifth in the field. Junior Alexis Etow is the final member of Princeton's fivesome and shot an 84 and is tied for 43rd.
Princeton has two individuals in the field. Annika Welander is tied for 11th with a 78 and Caitlin Sullivan is tied for 19th with an 80.
The tournament concludes tomorrow.
