Tiger Comeback Falls Short in Loss to Cornell

Cornell opened the scoring with two goals in the first period. The first goal came at 15:34 on the power play when Byron Bitz's shot from right in front bounced off a few skates and into the Tiger goal. Less than two minutes later Mark McCutcheon made the score 2-0 when he batted home the rebound of a Brendon Nash shot.
Cornell extended its lead to 3-0 midway through the second period when Tony Romano scored on the power play. Princeton freshman goaltender Zane Kalemba made 20 saves in the loss while
The loss dropped the Tigers to 1-5-1 overall and 1-4-0 in the ECAC Hockey League. Every game the Tigers have played this season has been decided by a goal or less.
