December 01, 2006 | Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving
As some of the top programs in the nation converged on DeNunzio Pool, one local freshman made the biggest splash of all in her home debut. Freshman Alicia Aemisegger set NCAA qualifying times to win the 500 free and the 200 IM, and she helped the women to a fourth-place spot after one day of the Big Al Invitational.
