Princeton Fencing Travels to Penn for Intercollegiate Fencing Association Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton fencing teams are back in action this weekend, traveling to Penn for the Intercollegiate Fencing Association's yearly meet. The Tigers are one of 12 teams competing in the weekend, which will include overall team titles for men and women, one overall combined champion and team honors for each weapon. Top individual finishers will also be recognized.
Princeton joins Boston College, Brandeis, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, MIT, NYU, Penn, Vassar and Yale at the meet.
Last year, Tommi Hurme earned a first-place finish in the men's epee while Jacqueline Leahy was the top finisher in the women's foil.
Following the IFA meet, the NCAA Regionals and Championships are ahead with the regional meet scheduled for Mar. 4 at Duke.
