The Princeton men's tennis team swept the doubles matches and got a clinching win at No. 1 singles from Darius Craton on the way to a 4-3 victory over Army in a match played at the Jadwin Gym indoor courts Friday afternoon.
Princeton, which won its fourth straight match, took a 2-0 lead when Jonathan Leslie lost just one game in a win at No. 6 singles. After Andrew Lieu defeated Phil Muhawi 6-4 and 6-3 at No. 3, Craton won the second set against John Houghton at No. 1 to clinch the match for the Tigers.
Lieu rejoined doubles partner Hans Plukas to win 8-5 at No. 1 over Army's Carl Fisher and Houghton. Princeton also got doubles wins from Ted Mabrey and Alex Vuckovic at No. 2 and Shannon Morales and Craton at No. 3. Morales and Craton improved to 7-1 overall together in the spring.
