ALBANY - Three members of the Princeton men's hockey team were among those honored when the ECAC Hockey League announced its annual award winners at its post-season banquet. Senior goaltender Eric Leroux and junior forward Grant Goeckner-Zoeller were each named to the league's third team, while freshman forward Brett Wilson was named to the league All-Rookie team.
Leroux, a first-team All-Ivy selection this season, finished 2006 with a 2.92 league goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. It is his first All-ECACHL honor.
Goeckner-Zoeller finished the season with 21 points in league play with 11 goals and 10 assists. He also tied for eighth in goal scoring in the league.
Wilson becomes Princeton's first all-rookie honoree since the 1997 season when Dominic Auger was named to the team. Wilson had nine goals and nine assists in league play. He ranked 27th in points and 14th in goals.
