The Tigers (6-7) got a win at No. 1 doubles from Jessica Siebel and Ivana King, but the Quakers clinched the doubles point thanks to 8-5 wins at the other two spots.
King won in straight sets for Princeton at No. 3 singles, handily defeating Michelle Mitchell 6-3 and 6-2.
The Tigers came back in three singles matches after losing the first set in each, but the Quakers rebounded to win all three matches. At No. 6, Princeton's Joanna Roth took the third set to a tiebreak against Caroline Stanislawski but fell 7-5 in the tiebreak. At No. 1, Darcy Robertson won the second set against Yulia Rivelis before Penn's No. 1 rebounded to win the match.
The match began outside at the Lenz Tennis Center but was moved inside to Jadwin Gym during the doubles due to rain.
