Women's Tennis Defeats Brown on the Road, 6-1

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Princeton women's tennis team dominated the doubles and won four singles matches in straight sets on the way to a 6-1 victory over Brown in an Ivy League match played Friday afternoon.
The Tigers (7-7, 1-1 Ivy) lost just nine games in three doubles matches and won in straight sets at every position from No. 3 through No. 6 singles.
Joanna Roth had Princeton's most impressive performance overall, losing just two games in a 6-2, 6-0 win over Alexa Baggio at No. 6. At No. 1, Darcy Robertson was impressive in a different way, coming back from a set down against Daisy Ames by winning the second set in a tiebreak the third set by a 7-5 score.
Ivana King continued a strong spring by losing just four games in a win over Ashley Pariser at No. 3.
In doubles, King and partner Jessica Siebel had a solid performance at No. 1, defeating Pariser and Kelley Kirkpatrick by a score of 8-2.
The Tigers play at Yale Saturday afternoon beginning at noon.
