Siebel-King Team Earns First-Team All-Ivy Honors in Women's Tennis

Princeton's No. 1 doubles team of senior Jessica Siebel and sophomore Ivana King was named to the 2006 All-Ivy first team in a vote of the league's eight women's tennis head coaches announced Friday.
Siebel and King were a unanimous first-team All-Ivy choice after finishing 5-2 in Ivy League play at No. 1 doubles, with one of those defeats coming to the No. 2-ranked doubles team in the country. Overall, the tandem finished with a 10-7 record during the spring season at No. 1.
King also earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors in singles after a terrific season that saw her finish with a team-high 14 singles victories and just four defeats. She finished 5-2 in singles in Ivy League matches playing at both No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
Senior Alison Hashmall was also an honorable mention All-Ivy selection in singles for the Tigers. Hashmall returned from an early-season injury to finish 5-2 in singles during Ivy League play at both No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
Princeton finished the season with a 10-9 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Ivy League competition.
