Women's Tennis Hosts Princeton Invitational To Open Fall Season
September 12, 2006 | Women's Tennis
The Princeton women's tennis team will get its 2006 fall season underway in unique fashion this weekend when it hosts the Princeton Invitational at the Lenz Tennis Center. Please see below for a revised schedule of events.
Each of the five teams at the event—Princeton, Ohio State, Rutgers, Yale and Buffalo—will play both singles and doubles against each of the four other teams in a "hidden dual" format. Singles and doubles matches between the teams will be played on different days, and there will be no team scoring. Eight singles matches and four doubles matches will take place in each matchup.
A complete tentative schedule of the weekend's events can be found below. Friday's schedule has been moved inside due to heavy rain in the area. Saturday's schedule will be adjusted accordingly if those matches need to be moved inside
The Community Tennis Clinic scheduled from 5-6 p.m. on Friday at the Lenz Center has been cancelled due to the heavy rain.
