Saiontz Falls in Semifinals at Cissie Leary Invitational

Princeton freshman Melissa Saiontz dropped a three-setter to Harvard's Lena Litvak in Sunday's semifinal round of the Cissie Leary Invitational at Penn's Lott Courts.
Saiontz, in her first collegiate tournament, won the first set 7-5 but then dropped the second set 6-1. Litvak then took a 10-point tiebreak to win the match by a 10-4 score.
In the consolation bracket of the singles draw, junior Ivana King, who reached the round of 16 of the main draw, defeated Natalia Toporowska of Arizona 6-4 and 6-4.
