Capkovic Falls in Harvard Intercession Invite Final

Princeton's Peter Capkovic reached the final at the Harvard Intercession Invite Monday before falling to Harvard's Gideon Valkin in a tight three-setter by scores of 7-6, 2-6 and 6-4.
Capkovic, ranked No. 100 nationally and the top seed in the bracket, had not lost a set in three matches heading into the final. He advanced to the final earlier on Monday with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 4 seed Soma Kesthely of Boston College.
The three-day tournament at Harvard's Murr Center featured players from host Harvard, Princeton, Boston College and Marist.
Princeton begins its 2007 dual-match season this Sunday, hosting Central Florida at the Jadwin Gym courts at 11 a.m.
