RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Senior Zach Beckmann scored four goals as the 16th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team fell to 20th-ranked Cal Baptist 10-9 on Friday afternoon. The game was the first of five this weekend for Princeton in California.
The game was close throughout and deadlocked at 6-6 entering the final quarter before Cal Baptist pulled ahead for good in the final quarter. In addition to Beckmann, five other Tigers added single goals.
Princeton faces top-ranked Stanford tomorrow as its first game at the SoCal Tournament at UC Irvine.
