Women's Golf Finishes 18th at Palmetto Intercollegiate

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Tigers wrapped up fall competition Tuesday at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C., finishing 18th.
Junior Susannah Aboff (77-78-81) and senior Annika Welander (79-77-80) led the Tigers at +20, tying for 38th, while junior Marlowe Boukis (85-84-81) and freshman Kate Scarpetta (83-86-81) tied for 83rd at +34 and sophomore Michelle Grilli (85-85-82) tied for 87th at +36.
Nebraska's J.C. Stevenson was the individual champion at even par, but her team finished second to East Carolina by three shots. College of Charleston, which finished tied for 11th, hosted the tournament at Oak Knoll Golf Club, while, in order of finish behind ECU and Nebraska, Maryland, Georgia State, East Tennessee State, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Western Carolina, Indiana, Campbell, Chattanooga, Charleston, Coastal Carolina, Miami (Fla.), Baylor, Oral Roberts, Princeton, Charleston Southern and Appalachian State rounded out the field.
Princeton will begin its spring season in March.
