Women's Golf Enjoying Successful Start to Missouri's Imes Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Susannah Aboff leads a 59-player field and the Princeton women's golf team stands in second place at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by Missouri with one round to play Tuesday.
Aboff shot a 72 and 71 in the tournament's first two rounds Monday to stand at 1-under and lead Missouri's Michelle Morgan by four strokes. The success has been consistent so far this fall for Aboff, who won the Princeton Invitational before finishing second at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invite.
The team leaderboard features Tigers at the top, though Missouri's Tigers lead Princeton's. The homestanding Tigers are at 19-over while Princeton is at 41-over in the 10-team field.
Marlowe Boukis (75-82) and Michelle Grilli (80-77) are tied for 12th at +13, while Kate Scarpetta (80-81) and Annika Welander (89-72) are tied for 22nd at +17 to complete the Princeton contingent.
