Women's Golf Finishes Second at Missouri's Johnie Imes Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Susannah Aboff and the Princeton women's golf team captured second place on the individual and team leaderboards at the University of Missouri's Johnie Imes Invitational, a three-round event that concluded Tuesday.
Missouri's Julia Potter carded a 6-under 66 Tuesday to claim the individual title at -2, one round after Aboff held a four-shot lead over Missouri's Michelle Morgan, who finished in a third-place tie at +9. Aboff followed her 72 and 71 with a third-round 79 to finish at +6.
Missouri won the event by 30 strokes over the Tigers atop the 10-team field. Marlowe Boukis finished second among Princeton golfers in 10th place at +15 (75-82-74), while Kate Scarpetta tied for 11th at +17 (80-81-72) and Michelle Grilli finished 14th at +21 (80-77-80) to complete Princeton's scoring four. Annika Welander was the fifth Tiger, tying for 30th at + 30 (79-82-85).
Princeton will have one more fall tournament with the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate at Kiawah Island, S.C., Oct. 29-30.
