Princeton Fencers to Compete in ECAC's IFA Meet Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Princeton fencing teams will compete at the Intercollegiate Fencing Association championships Saturday at the Lawrenceville School in an event hosted by the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
Princeton's squads will be among 12 men's teams and 11 women's teams at the meet. Other schools competing include Boston College, Brandeis, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, MIT, NYU, Penn, Vassar and Yale. Festivities will begin at 8 a.m.
Last week, Princeton wrapped up the two-weekend Ivy League championships with a 3-2 men's record and a 2-4 women's record. A year ago at the IFA meet, then hosted by Penn, the both teams took fourth in the three-weapon standings.
