Women's Golf Stands Second Midway Through Cincinnati Spring Invite

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. -- The Princeton women's golf team is just one shot off the lead with 18 holes to play at the Cincinnati Spring Invite in Crystal River, Fla., and Sharla Cloutier is within one shot of the individual lead at the par-72 Plantation Inn Golf Course.
The Tigers were 22-over as a team Friday while Middle Tennessee State leads the tournament at +21. Florida Atlantic (+23), Cincinnati (+25), Illinois (+32), Alabama-Birmingham (+38), Yale (+38), Siena (+45) and Rutgers (+49) round out the field.
Cloutier, a senior, was one of four players to shoot a 3-over 75 in the opening round, one shot behind individual leader Seul Ki Park of Illinois.
Senior Alexis Etow is tied for seventh at a 5-over 77, while freshman Michelle Grilli is tied for 11th at 6-over 78 and junior Annika Welander and sophomore Marlowe Boukis are tied for 20th at 8-over 80. Senior Caitlin Sullivan is competing individually and carded a 5-over 77 in the opening round.
