San Diego Defeats Princeton in Men's Tennis, 6-1

Princeton took the doubles point but lost several close matches in singles in a 6-1 loss to San Diego in its final match of a Spring Break trip Saturday afternoon in Southern California.
The 64th-ranked Tigers (7-4) won the doubles point when Sratha Saengsuwarn and Mark Gober won in a tiebreak at No. 3. The 60th-ranked team of Peter Capkovic and Alex Vuckovic had given Princeton another win earlier.
There were tiebreaks in three of the six singles matches, all won by USD. At No. 1, #47 Thomas Liversage took two tiebreaks to defeat Princeton's Peter Capkovic, while Chris Coettzee won a first-set tiebreak on the way to a win over Saengsuwarn at No. 2. Charlie Brosens took the first set to a tiebreak against Charl Wolmarans at No. 5.
USD clinched the team match when Matt Ozurovich defeated Jonathan Leslie 6-2 and 7-5 at No. 6 singles.
The Tigers return home to begin Ivy League play next Saturday against Penn.
