Men's Tennis Wins at Cornell, 5-2, Finishes 5-2 in Ivy Play

The Princeton men's tennis team concluded an outstanding spring season with a 5-2 win at Cornell Sunday, winning three times in three sets in singles, including two of the comeback variety.
The Tigers finished the season 12-6 overall and 5-2 in Ivy League play. Princeton won five of its final six matches in league play.
Senior Sratha Saengsuwarn, playing his final collegiate match, came back from a set down to win the final two sets 6-1 and 6-4 in a win over Cornell's Josh Raff at No. 2 singles. Sophomore Alex Vuckovic also came from behind to win in three sets, defeating Cornell's Jon Fife 3-6, 6-3 and 7-5 at No. 5 singles.
At No. 6, Charlie Brosens also won in three sets for Princeton, defeating Kyle Doppelt 6-4 in the third set.
Princeton won five of six singles matches after Cornell won at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles to earn the doubles point. Saengsuwarn also won in doubles for Princeton, joining Alex Krueger-Wyman to defeat Doppelt and Dan Brous at the No. 3 spot.
Krueger-Wyman also won a tightly-contested match at No. 4 singles, beating Josh Goldstein in straight sets by scores of 7-5 and 6-4.
No. 1 Peter Capkovic concluded an outstanding sophomore year by beating Nick Brunner in a tiebreak in the second set after winning the first set 6-4.
