Sprint Football Falls at Penn

PHILADELPHIA -- The Penn sprint football team scored four touchdowns in the opening quarter and never looked back in a 60-7 win over Princeton on Friday night at Franklin Field. Lon Johnson scored Princeton's lone touchdown on a 64-yard touchdown catch.
Penn scored the game's first points on Marten Basta's 33-yard touchdown reception to put the Quakers up 7-0. Princeton evened the score on Johnson's touchdown catch, but Penn took the lead right back by returning the ensuing kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown.
Princeton quarterback Alex Kandabarow threw for 97 yards and a touchdown on eight completions. Lon Johnson had 92 receiving yards and scored his second touchdown of the season.
Princeton returns to action next Friday night at home against Army at 7 p.m.
