Tigers Fall to Bucknell 11-8 at ECACs

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The 18th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team fell 11-8 to 11th-ranked Bucknell on Sunday in the third-place game of the ECAC Championships at Bucknell. Senior Zach Beckmann scored twice in the game.
The Bison opened the game strong and led 7-2 at the half after outscoring Princeton 5-1 in the second half. Princeton closed the gap in the final quarter with four goals, but could not overcome the deficit. In addition to Beckmann's two goals, six other Tigers scored single goals for the Tigers.
The loss drops Princeton to 8-4 overall this season. Princeton returns home next weekend for three games. Princeton hosts Queens Friday night and Navy and Bucknell on Saturday.
