Back in Action
Princeton returns from a 17-day layoff for final exams with tonight's non-league game at Robert Morris. Princeton and Robert Morris have face each other at this point in each of the least two seasons.
Last Time Out
Princeton ran its win streak to five games with a sweep at Yale and Brown on the weekend of Jan. 11 and 12. Princeton came from behind to win 4-3 at Yale, then got ahead early in a 6-2 win at Brown.
Five in a Row
Princeton has won its last five games, which give the Tigers their longest winning streak in more than 60 years since the 1947-48 Tigers opened the season with five consecutive wins. Princeton has had several unbeaten streaks of five or more games since then, most recently coming late in the 1998-99 season when had a 5-0-1 stretch.
Third Period Rallies
Princeton has come from behind in the third period three times during its five-game win streak. Princeton rallied from a 2-1 deficit at Nebraska-Omaha, a 1-0 deficit at home against Harvard and a 2-1 deficit at Yale. Princeton won just once last season when trailing after two periods.

Throw the Puck at the Net
Princeton recorded a season-high 58 shots on goal in its 6-2 win at Brown. Princeton last crossed the 50-shot mark on Nov. 18, 2006 when the Tigers garnered 51 shots on goal in a 4-2 loss to Colgate.
Great Away From Home
Princeton improved its record away from Hobey Baker Rink to 7-2 with the sweep at Yale and Brown. Princeton is 3-6 at home this season.
Into First
Princeton has won its last five league games and it entered the break sitting atop the ECAC Hockey standings. Princeton has since dropped to second behind Clarkson, but the Tigers do have two games in hand on Clarkson, which plays non-league games this weekend.
The last four of Princeton's five-straight wins have come against Ivy League opponents and have moved Princeton to 5-0 in Ivy play this season as Princeton has defeated each Ivy team once. Princeton managed just three Ivy League wins in each of the last two seasons. Princeton has a one-point lead over second-place Cornell with two games in hand.
ECAC Hockey Landscape
Princeton sits second in the ECAC Hockey standings with its 8-4 record and 16 points. Princeton lies five points behind first place Clarkson and a single point ahead of third-place Cornell and Quinnipiac. Union, Yale and Harvard are tied for fifth, two points behind Princeton.
Princeton vs. Robert Morris
Princeton and Robert Morris will meet for the third time in three years when the Tigers travel to Pittsburgh. Robert Morris has won both meetings, taking a 5-2 win two seasons ago at home and a 3-1 win last season in Princeton.
Last Year's Game
Junior Lee Jubinville gave Princeton a 1-0 lead late in the second period, but the Colonials responded with a three-goal third period to take a 3-1 win from the Tigers on Jan. 29, 2007.
Scouting the Colonials
Robert Morris is 10-9-3 overall and 5-3-2 in College Hockey America. The Colonials managed just a point in a series last weekend at Bemidji State, but are now 3-2-1 in the new year. Robert Morris has played four games against ECAC Hockey teams this season, being swept at Colgate and at home by Quinnipiac.
Non Conference Wrap
The game with Robert Morris will be Princeton's final non-league game of the 2007-08 season. Princeton is 2-4 in those games with wins at Yale and Nebraska-Omaha, and losses to Quinnipiac, Minnesota State and Notre Dame (2).

Sophomore defenseman Jody Pederson has gotten into the action offensively during Princeton's win streak with assists in the last four games. He has five helpers and is +9 in the span.
6-Four Assists at Brown
Junior Lee Jubinville registered six points on the weekend, posting a goal and assist at Yale and four assists the following day at Brown. The four assists was a career high. He now has 23 points in 17 games this season. Jubinville entered the break tied for the league lead in conference scoring.
7-Points in His Last Two
Freshman defenseman Cam Ritchie notched an assist in each of Princeton's wins against Yale and Brown. His assist at Brown came on the game winner.
9-Five in Five
Sophomore Dan Bartlett had a goal and two assists during the Yale/Brown weekend and now has recorded five points (2G,3A) in the last five games.
10-Rhodes on Ice
Senior Landis Stankievech was one of three Princeton students to receive a Rhodes Scholarship. The senior from Trochu, Alberta is the second Princeton hockey player to win the award, joining Mike Spence. Stankievech had four points in Princeton's weekend sweep of Dartmouth and Harvard in early January.
14-Game Winners
Sophomore Mark Magnowski has scored four goals this season and all four have proven to be game winners, including the goal he scored at Yale. Only five players in the nation have more game-winning goals.
16-Five Point Weekend
Junior Brett Wilson, Princeton's current leading career scorer, had five points during the Yale/Brown weekend. He had an assist against Yale, then scored twice and set up two more goals in the 6-2 win at Brown. It was the second four-point game of his collegiate career.
17-Birthday Boy
Sophomore Kevin Kaiser celebrated his 21st birthday in style by scoring the game-winning goal against Harvard on it. Kaiser added to his goal total at Brown when he scored the team's fourth goal.
22-Rookie of the Week
Freshman Mike Kramer recorded five points in the Yale/Brown weekend, posting a goal and an assist at Yale and two goals and a helper at Brown. The freshman recorded five of his eight points this season on the weekend and was named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week.
27-Goal Number 9
Sophomore Cam MacIntyre had a point in each game during the weekend at Yale and Brown. On Friday at Yale, he set up Mark Magnowski's game winner and on Saturday at Brown, he recorded his ninth goal of the season, equalling his goal total from last season.
32-Two More Wins
Sophomore goaltender Zane Kalemba reeled off his third and fourth straight wins at Yale and Brown. The sophomore stopped 56 shots over the weekend. At Yale, he made 25 saves through two periods to keep Princeton close for their third-period comeback.
Balanced Effort
Princeton offense has been balanced all season as the Tigers' 54 goals have come from 18 different skaters. In addition, 21 of Princeton's 22 skaters have registered at least one point this season.
Reaching Six
Princeton's six goals scored in its win at Brown was its marked its third game of five or more goals in the five-game winning streak. Princeton has 27 goals in its last five games, and had three goals in the previous three games. Princeton last scored six goals in the season opener at Yale.
Above .500
After starting last season 1-6-2, the Tigers finished out the season 14-10-1. With an 10-8 record this season, the Tigers are 24-18-1 over the last 43 games.
Ranked Teams
Princeton has faced five ranked teams this season and is 1-4 in those games. Princeton fell to No. 8 Clarkson 6-2, No. 18 Rensselaer 4-3 and No. 6 Notre Dame 4-2 and 7-0. Princeton's win came over No. 15 Harvard by a 2-1 score.
Shorthanded
Mark Magnowski's shorthanded goal at Nebraska-Omaha was Princeton's first of the season. Princeton has allowed five shorthanded goals this season.
On the Horizon
Princeton returns to league play this Friday and Saturday on the road at Union and Rensselaer. That weekend begins a five-week race to the ECAC Hockey playoffs.
