Women's Swimming/Diving Stays Unbeaten With Sweep Of Dartmouth, New Hampshire

Lisa Hamming won two events and six other Princeton women won once to lead the Tiger women's swimming and diving team to a pair of wins Sunday in its post-exams debut. Princeton maintained its perfect Ivy League record with a 152-89 win at Dartmouth and added a 148-93 win over New Hampshire.
Alexandra Wiley got Princeton off to a good start by winning the 400 IM in 4:32.28, topping teammate Lauren Benjamin (4:38.94), and freshman Ming Ong continued the winning ways by taking the 200 free in 1:54.38. Justina DiFazio, one of Princeton's reigning Ivy League champions, edged out teammate Emily Trautner to win the 50 free in 24.52.
Hamming began her double win by taking the 100 IM in 59.58, and she added a win in the 100 free (52.92). In between, Peggy Kearns pulled out a win in the 1-meter competition (263.15 points). Freshman Megan Waters claimed the 100 back in 59.91, and senior Brett Shiflett routed the field to win the 500 free in 5:02.21.
Princeton will compete in the annual HYP competition next weekend in New Haven, Conn.
