Tigers Defeat NJIT, 7-0, In Women's Tennis Season Opener

Princeton lost just six games in three doubles matches and dominated the bottom of the singles lineup on the way to a 7-0 victory against NJIT Wednesday morning at Jadwin Gym.
At No. 5 singles, freshman Sarah Hoffman didn't lose a game in a win over Dasa Stanmirovic. At No. 6 singles, junior Kristen Scott lost just one game in a win over NJIT's Chiori Koike.
Ivana King lost just two games in a win over Isha Toor at No. 2 singles.
In doubles, Scott and Hoffman combined for an 8-1 victory at No. 3 against Koike and Fatima Kasem.
At No. 3 singles, Sarah Huah lost the first set to Kasem but won the second set 6-0 and then a tiebreak 10-5 to take the match.
The match was the spring season opener for both schools.
