ITA Regional Event Beckons Men's Tennis to Yale

PRINCETON -- Seven Princeton men's tennis players will head to New Haven, Conn., for the ITA Regional event at Yale Thursday through next Tuesday.
The Princeton contingent will feature three doubles teams with Peter Capkovic and Alex Vuckovic, Alex Faust and George Carpeni, and Ryan Kim and Ilya Trubov. The six singles players are Carpeni, Faust, Capkovic, Kim, Vuckovic and Ravi Yegya-Raman.
Yegya-Raman and Vuckovic will play in a 32-man qualifying singles draw, with the top eight advancing to the 128-person main draw. Those eight will be decided on Thursday in back-to-back matches.
Friday will see the start of the 64-team doubles draw as well as the main singles bracket, with play continuing through the rest of the tournament.
