NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Peter Capkovic won two matches Sunday at the ITA Regional event at Yale to advance to the quarterfinals.
Capkovic defeated Cornell's Jeremy Feldman 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 in the round of 32 and Harvard's Sasha Ermakov 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 in the round of 16 before also advancing in the doubles draw. Capkovic and Alex Vuckovic moved on to the quarterfinals with a walkover win over the Columbia pair of Nichifor and Schneiderman and will now face the Harvard duo of Clayton and Chijoff-Evans.
Play will continue Monday.
