Men's Soccer to Battle the Big Red on Nov. 1

PRINCETON, N.J. (10/29/08) ? The Princeton men's soccer team will look to get back on track when it travels to Ithaca, N.Y., to take on Cornell on Saturday, Nov. 1 for a 4:30 p.m., contest.

Princeton is fourth in the Ivy League standings with a 1-2-1 record, while Cornell is last with a 0-4 record.
Princeton leads the all-time series, 47-35-11 and won last year's game, a 1-0 decision.
The Tigers sport a 4-9-1 overall record. Sophomore Brandon Busch is at the top of the scoring column with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Freshman Antoine Hoppenot and sophomore Josh Walburn have seven points apiece. Junior Devin Muntz has a team-best five assists, and sophomore Teddy Schneider also has five points coming from two goals and a helper. Senior Joe Walter and sophomore Sean Lynch have split goalkeeping duties. Walter has a 3-5-1 record, a 1.08 goals against average and a .767 save percentage. Lynch has a 1-4 record, a 1.79 GAA and a .640 save percentage.
The Big Red are 1-11 on the season, with their lone win coming on Sept. 21 versus Lafayette. Joe Yonga leads the team in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points. Scott Caldwell has four points, and Matt Bouraee and Pedro Pereira each have two points. Scott Brody has seen the majority of time in net, although Steve Lesser and Luca Cerretani have each played in two games. Brody has a 1-8 record, a 2.27 goals against average and a.636 save percentage and a 2.27 GAA.
