This Week's Storylines
Howdy Partner
Princeton plays its first of three games this season against Quinnipiac, its travel-partner. Tonight's game, as well as the game at Princeton on Nov. 26 will count towards the ECAC standings, while the Dec. 3 meeting is a non-league game.
Last Time Out
Princeton picked up a 2-1 win over Colgate in overtime on Saturday when sophomore Kevin Lohry scored midway through the overtime period to salvage a weekend split. The Tigers fell to Cornell 1-0 a day earlier.
Cornell Recap
Cornell edged the Tigers 1-0 last Friday in front of a capacity crowd at Baker Rink and a national television audience. Princeton outshot Cornell 43-19 by Cornell's Tyler Mugford scored the game's lone goal early in the third period.
Colgate Recap
Princeton jumped ahead just a minute into the game when senior Brett Wilson scored his second goal of the season. Colgate tied the game with six minutes left in regulation, setting up Lohry's overtime heroics. It was Princeton's fifth-straight win over Colgate.
Overtime
Princeton's trip to overtime on Saturday was its first trip to an extra session in the last 40 games dating back to the 2006-07 season. Princeton's last overtime game was on March 3, 2007, a 2-1 win over Brown at home in the ECAC first-round playoffs.

Princeton's weekend split dropped the Tigers three spots in the latest USCHO.com Poll. Princeton is now ranked 12th in the poll and remains the highest ECAC team in the rankings. Princeton is ranked 11th in the USA Today Poll. Princeton has been ranked as high as ninth this season. The only other time Princeton has been ranked in the Top 10 came during the 1998-99 season. Princeton's highest-ever ranking is eighth.
Against Ranked Teams
Princeton is 0-1 against ranked teams with its loss to Cornell. The Tigers next ranked opponent will be No. 7 Northeastern, which it will face on Nov. 28 at the RPI Tournament.
Home and Away and Neutral
Princeton was 9-7 in games played at Hobey Baker Rink and 10-6 on the road this season. Princeton was once 1-6 at home before finishing its home schedule with an 8-1 stretch. Princeton was 2-1 at neutral sites. Princeton is 1-1 at home and 1-0 away from Baker Rink this season.

Princeton vs. Quinnipiac
Princeton and Quinnipiac will meet for the eighth time on Tuesday night with the Bobcats holding a 4-3 series edge. Oddly enough, each team is better in the series on the road with Princeton 3-1 at Quinnipiac and the Bobcats 3-0 at Baker Rink.
Recent History
Quinnipiac won the first two meetings last season, taking the first game 2-0 and the second 5-2. The third game went to Princeton by a 4-2 score as sophomore Cam Ritchie scored two goals and junior Kevin Kaiser had a pair of assists. Sophomore Alan Reynolds got the win in goal.
Scouting the Bobcats
Quinnipiac is 2-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in ECAC action this season. The Bobcats were held without a goal all of last weekend in a 1-0 loss to Colgate and 0-0 tied with Cornell. That said, their defense was excellent as freshman goaltender Nick Pisellini lowered his goals-against to 0.83.
Individually vs. Quinnipiac
Seniors Brandan Kushniruk, Brett Wilson and Lee Jubinville lead the Tigers in career points against the Bobcats. Kushniruk and Wilson have four each while Jubinville has two.
Non-League Schedule
Princeton is 1-0 in non-league play although the win came over Brown, a league opponent. The Tigers have a similar game scheduled against Quinnipiac on Dec. 3. Princeton could also face Rensselaer in non-league play in their tournament in November. Princeton will face Northeastern, Nebraska-Omaha, Minnesota State and Robert Morris as well.

Balanced Effort
Princeton offense was balanced last season as the Tigers' 112 goals have come from 20 different skaters. In addition, 21 of Princeton's 22 skaters registered at least one point this season. Princeton also had 14 skaters with double-digit point totals. This season the Tigers have spread their 18 points among 10 different skaters.
Offense From the Back
Princeton had four defensemen with double-digit point totals last season. Princeton last accomplished that in the 1994-95 season. Princeton defensemen accounted for four assists in the Brown win.

Individual Notes
Leading Scorer
Princeton returns senior Lee Jubinville, its leading scorer from a season ago. Jubinville posted 39 points to lead the team and the league and was the Ivy and ECAC Player of the Year and a first-team All-America. He was also Princeton's first-ever candidate for the Hobey Baker Award. Jubinville has two points this season including an assist against Colgate.
Leading Career Point Getter
Despite Jubinville's season, classmate Brett Wilson still holds the scoring lead among active Tigers with 79 points. He has scored 34 goals and 45 assists and has a one-point edge on Jubinville in the rankings. He was a second-team All-ECAC selection last year. Wilson scored Princeton's first goal in its wins at Brown and against Colgate.
One at a Time
Junior goaltender Zane Kalemba, the Most Outstanding Player at last year's ECAC Tournament, has allowed just a single goal in each of his three starts this season. Kalemba has a 1.00 goals-against average and a .949 save percentage.
Something Against Colgate
Six of sophomore Kevin Lory's 13 points, and four of his five career goals have come against Colgate. Lohry scored the overtime game winner on Saturday afternoon.
