COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Princeton's two female fencers at the NCAA Championships, junior Jasjit Bhinder and freshman Lyuba Docheva, wrapped up their competition Friday as the Tigers stand 14th on the overall board.
Bhinder won 12 of 23 bouts between Thursday and Friday to finish 11th of the 24 fencers in the epee competition, while Docheva won six of 23 to finish 20th in the sabre.
The overall team standing is determined by totaling the individual bouts won by a school's fencers. Princeton has four male entrants who will compete over the weekend. Ohio State is the overall leader with 101 individual wins while 23 schools have recorded victories.
