Tickets On Sale Now for ECAC Hockey Championship

Tickets to the 2008 Bank of America ECAC Hockey Men's Championship in Albany are on sale now. Tickets can either be purchased from the Princeton ticket office or from the Times Union Center box office.
All-session passes cost $48 for adults and $24 for students and children 12 and under, and include admission to both semifinal games on Friday, as well as the championship and consolation games on Saturday. Individual day tickets cost $26 for adults, and $17 for children, and will include both games. Fans can also purchase special "fan zone" tickets for $20 for adults and $5 for children. Games are scheduled to begin at 4 and 7 p.m., both days.
Tickets can be obtained in person at the Times Union Center box office, by calling (800) 30-EVENT, or by visiting www.tickets.com. When ordering tickets, Tiger fans should request seats in section 122.
Fans headed to the Albany area for the weekend can find more information on accommodations, restaraunts and attractions from the Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
In addition to the excitement of playoff hockey action, fans will also be treated to the annual ECAC Hockey Fan Fest at the Times Union Center. On both Friday and Saturday, from 3-7 p.m., fans can enjoy face painting, caricature artists, a bounce inflatable, balloon artists, picture magnets, strolling entertainment, and video games. On Saturday at noon, fans can either sample food from downtown Albany restaurants at the TUC, or enjoy a free screening of the movie Rocky at the nearby Palace Theatre by presenting their hockey tickets at the door.
Princeton, the second seed entering the tournament, is the highest remaining seed, after eighth-seeded Colgate knocked off top-seeded Clarkson. Princeton and Colgate will meet on Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. Third-seeded Harvard and with fifth-seeded Cornell will play in the second semifinal at 7 p.m. The winners of those games will play for the ECAC Hockey Championship and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament on Saturday at 7 p.m., while the other two teams will battle for third place in the consolation game at 4 p.m.
Those who cannot make it to Albany can follow along online, by radio or on television. Both games will air live on WPRB 103.3 FM in Princeton as well as on GoPrincetonTigers.com. The games will also be available through a variety of different television channels either live or on tape delay. The schedule is below.
