Men's Tennis Tops No. 70 Georgia State, 6-1

The Princeton men's tennis team earned its second win over a ranked opponent in the last three days with an impressive 6-1 victory over No. 70 Georgia State Sunday morning at the Piedmont Tennis Center.
Especially impressive for Princeton (5-3) were singles wins by Ryan Kim at No. 4 and Jonathan Leslie at No. 6. Leslie didn't lose a game in a straight-set win over Ross Hopper at No. 6, while Kim lost just one game in a win over William Adeimy at No. 4.
Kim also helped the Tigers clinch the doubles point, joining Peter Capkovic to defeat Hopper and Aleksandar Elezovic by an 8-2 score at No. 3.
Princeton also got singles wins Sunday from Alex Krueger-Wyman, George Carpeni and Ilyva Trubov. Krueger-Wyman won in three sets at No. 2, while Trubov won the first set in a tiebreak before putting away Trenton Spinks 6-4 in the second at No. 5.
The Tigers also defeated 42nd-ranked Clemson by a 4-3 score Friday afternoon in South Carolina.
Princeton will host Stony Brook Friday afternoon at Jadwin Gym before heading to California for a Spring Break trip.
