Women's Golf to Tee It Up in South Carolina This Weekend

PRINCETON -- The Princeton women's golf team will head to the South Carolina suburbs of Charlotte, N.C, for this weekend's Shamrock Intercollegiate, hosted by WInthrop at Tega Cay Golf Club beginning Friday.
The tournament is Princeton's second of the spring season after playing in a Texas A&M-hosted tournament two weekends ago. There, Princeton finished 10th in a loaded field of 15 teams.
Princeton and host Winthrop will be joined by Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, St. Francis (Pa.), The Citadel, South Dakota State, Iowa, Xavier, Murray State, Siena, Tennessee State and Presbyterian at the tournament. The Shamrock will have an 18-hole round on each of the three days on a par-72 course that measures 5,974 yards.
The Tigers will have two more tournaments after the Shamrock before the Ivy League Championship April 19-20.
