PRINCETON -- The Princeton women's golf team will return from its winter hiatus Friday for the 54-hole “Mo-Morial” tournament hosted by Texas A&M at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
Play will start at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday for the 15-team field that includes Princeton and host Texas A&M along with Texas-El Paso, Baylor, Kent State, Southern Methodist, Iowa State, Northwestern, Texas Christian, Mississippi, Denver, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska and Tulsa.
The par-72 course measures 7,146 yards from the most distant tees. This will be Princeton's second straight year at the Mo-Morial after competing in a similarly strongly talented event last season.
Princeton competed in four fall tournaments, winning the Princeton Invitational and the Nittany Lion invitational before finishing second at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by Missouri. The Mo-Morial is the first of five spring tournaments on the schedule for the Tigers including the Ivy League Championship.
