Women's Tennis Defeats Harvard, 4-3

Freshman Taylor Marable continued her outstanding Ivy League season with the clinching win at No. 3 singles as the Tigers beat Harvard, 4-3, in a women's tennis match played at the Lenz Tennis Center Saturay afternoon.
Marable beat Stephanie Schnitter in a second-set tiebreak to win her match* and give the Tigers (10-8, 3-2 Ivy) a 4-2 lead in the team match. She improved to 5-0 at No. 3 singles this spring for Princeton.
After winning the doubles thanks to victories at Nos. 2 and 3, the Tigers took a 2-0 lead when Ivana King lost just one game in a straight-set win over Laura Peterzan at No. 2 singles. Princeton got a third singles win when another freshman, Sarah Hoffman, outlasted Vilsa Curto 6-1 and 7-5 at No. 6.
Princeton hosts Columbia in its home finale on Friday.
