May 22, 2008 | Men's Soccer
Six members of the Princeton Class of 2012 will join the Tiger men's soccer team in the fall of 2008. The class features a group of forwards and midfielders, including three from California, and the six have been part of numerous club championships on both the state and national levels.
"The Class of 2012 is filled with exciting attacking players and we think they will make an immediate and lasting impact on our program," says head coach Jim Barlow '91. "They come from some of the best clubs and academies in the country, and we expect them to fit right in both on and off the field. There is nice mix of skill, athleticism, and soccer intelligence with a passion for the game. We can't wait for them to be part of our program and part of the inaugural season in our new stadium."
Princeton will open the inaugural season at the new Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium Sept. 5 with a game against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m.. Updated photos of stadium construction are available here.
