Susannah Aboff Tees It Up at U.S. Women's Amateur

EUGENE, Ore. -- Princeton senior-to-be Susannah Aboff will play her first round Monday at the U.S. Women's Amateur, held at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore.
The defending Ivy League individual champion, Aboff won three other tournaments in 2007-08 for the Tigers and has earned All-Ivy honors in all three seasons at Princeton.
The Amateur has both stroke-play and match-play components. Aboff and 155 other competitors will play a round each Monday and Tuesday, with the lowest 64 scores advancing to match play starting Wednesday. The field will be pared bracket style until Sunday, when the last two players will go 36 holes to determine the champion.
Aboff will begin her first round Monday on the 10th hole at 12:41 p.m. Pacific Time. The Tiger golfer will be the senior member of her three-person group, walking the course with Arizona freshman-to-be Nikki Koller and a 13-year-old from Southern California, Alison Lee.
