September 27, 2008 | Men's Water Polo
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The 19th-ranked Princeton men's water polo team used a strong team effort defensively to shut down 14th-ranked Navy in a 7-3 win on Saturday night. The Tigers held Navy to a single goal in the first half and broke the game open with a four-goal third quarter.

The Tigers continued to pull ahead after the break, scoring four goals in the third quarter to one for Navy to gain a 7-2 lead. The Midshipmen chipped a goal off that lead in the final quarter but could not get any closer as Princeton would win by a final score of 7-3.
