Cornell Blanks Sprint Football 44-0

ITHACA, N.Y. (10/9/09) -- Cornell scored three touchdowns in the opening quarter to establish an early lead in a 44-0 win over the Princeton sprint football team on Friday night at Schoellkopf Field.
Cornell quarterback Elliott Corey threw for a pair of touchdowns, one a 54-yard reception and the other a 47-yard throw. Timothy Bruhn also completed a touchdown pass and three back ran for touchdowns. Cornell also recorded a safety.
Princeton's Ned Moffat threw for 71 yards on seven completions with a long of 24 yards. He also carried the ball 17 times. Andrew Gabriele made 16 tackles to lead the defense and John Wolfe had an interception.
The Tigers fall to 0-4 overall with the loss and are now 0-2 in CSFL play. Princeton plays at Navy next Friday night.
