Men's Water Polo Falls to UC Irvine 15-7

Princeton was shut out in the opening period, falling behind 2-0 and UCI built a 7-2 lead by the half. Scoring leveled out in the second half, but the Anteaters maintained the margin for the 15-7 win.
In all, five Tigers scored in the loss, led by Zalewski and Cottrell's two goals apiece. Senior Douglas Wigley, junior Tommy Parolin and freshman Jack Ruth added single goals. Senior goalkeeper Scottie Hvidt made 11 saves.
Princeton will continue the tournament tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. PT against either Pacific or UC San Diego. Both of Princeton's games on Sunday will take place at the Corona del Mar High School Pool.
